I’d highly recommend the [[Forbidden Game by L J Smith|Forbidden Game]] and [[Dark Visions: The Strange Power, The Possessed, The Passion by L J Smith|Dark Visions]] trilogies in particular. You might also enjoy [[The Piper by Danny Weston]].
