If like me you haven't read any of the other books in this series then don't worry as it really won't matter. Although that said unusually for me I didn't really feel emotionally invested or connected to any of the main characters, despite them all being totally likeable, which no doubt you would had you followed their previous adventures and already got to them know.
Not necessarily a page-turner but easy to read, brilliantly witty and thoroughly enjoyable nonetheless. Other chick lit series you might like are the [[Shopaholic and Baby by Sophie Kinsella|Shopaholic]] series by [[:Category:Sophie Kinsella|Sophie Kinsella]] or [[Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy by Helen Fielding]]. You might also enjoy [[Honeymoon Suite by Wendy Holden]].
