The whole style and feel of the book is brilliant, and the fact it comes with an audio version only adds to its charm as a bedtime story. This will be a great CD to put on if your child is unsure of night time, or scared of those shadows on the wall. Lenny Henry’s reading of it is just as good as you would expect it to be, and I know my son will appreciate listening to it of a night. I’m sure this book will become a bedtime favourite in a lot of households, and rightly so.
If it's a terribly relaxing bedtime book you're looking for, then look no further than [[A Bed of Your Own by Mij Kelly and Mary McQuillan]]. For a completely different approach to bedtime, try [[This Is Not A Bedtime Story by Will Mabbitt and Fred Blunt]]. We think you'll also love [[Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown and Clement Hurd]].
