He writes satirical novels and short stories as PJ VANSTON, most notably the dark campus satire CRUMP (2010). His short stories have been widely published and have won several prizes.
The author has previously written two books as Jem Vanston called A CAT CALLED DOG (2013 longer version and 2015 illustrated shorter version for kids/adults). The sequel, [[A Cat Called Dog 2 - The One with the Kittens by Jem Vanston|A CAT CALLED DOG 2 – THE ONE WITH THE KITTENS]], will be published in Spring 2017.
As well as writing books, the author also writes songs, including COME ON WALES, by Little Red Dragons, a charity football song recorded for Euro2016.
