The core style is gentle, charming and sweet. It's a book for the youngest of children and it's perfectly pitched. Once children are old enough to declare that they're not babies, they'll be looking for books with a stronger central narrative. Until that time, they'll lap up ''Babies Love Books'' and make it one of the first books that they love.
