Further reading suggestion: Jon Mayhew is a big fan of Darren Shan and I can see why – the two both write fantastic books which young teenage boys will devour. Any of Shan's would be a good pick for someone who enjoyed The Demon Collector but I'd particularly recommend [[Birth of a Killer (The Saga of Larten Crepsley) by Darren Shan|Birth of a Killer]], which starts off the Larten Crespley Saga. You might also enjoy [[The Riddle-Master's Game by Patricia McKillip]].
