Victoria Thompson is a mother of three who works full-time as an Urban Designer for local government. She has drawn on this and her previous 14 years’ experience as a Design and Technology secondary school teacher to create her debut children’s picture book.

Victoria describes children as creative, future thinkers. She loves their laughter, passion, loyalty and finds that they are the most trustworthy critics on the planet.

Her belief of ‘anything is possible if you put your mind to it’, inspired her desire to write a short story, after being diagnosed with Dyslexia and Dyspraxia in 2018, while studying her master’s degree.

Inspired by her own children, her debut children’s book demonstrates Victoria’s fun, enthusiastic nature perfectly, through the bright, bold illustrations accompanying a quirky story.
