Penelope has lived in Devon most of her life and now lives in a seaside town with her husband and four children.<br /> <br /> From being a young girl, Penelope&#039;s love and desire to write has always been smouldering. One day her high school English teacher handed her &#039;&#039;Jamaica Inn&#039;&#039; by Daphne du Maurier, followed by &#039;&#039;Frenchman&#039;s Creek&#039;&#039;, both lighting the fuse to one day write romantic fiction herself.<br /> <br /> Then followed LIFE: catering college to qualify as a chef, then years of hard work setting up a family catering business whilst raising four children. Writing became a retirement plan, years in the future, until recently when that fuse was lit again. This time that spark made Penelope go out and buy a notebook and so the writing began.</div>
