Marion Adams grew up surrounded by books and has been writing ever since she could hold a pencil. She's made a living from it as an advertising copywriter and now helps other writers polish their prose as a freelance editor and proofreader. She's also worked in primary schools making phonemes fun and helping children learn to read and write their own stories.

Marion writes for both adults and children, and her published work includes plays, poetry, teen magazine stories, articles and non-fiction. She's won several prizes for her poems.

Marion's two children are grown up, but when they were young, she loved reading bedtime stories to them. Now she's written one herself, and she's delighted that Go To Sleep! is being published by Full Media Ltd. She hopes that it will be a hit with tired parents and that children will think of Tansy the sheep whenever they forget how to go to sleep.
