He has written three novels set in the countries of east and southern Africa that he has lived and worked in, and where he has family. His first novel, The Ghosts of Eden, won the Waverton Good Read Award and was shortlisted for the Rubery Book Award. His second novel, Fortunate, is the story of ‘semi-bereaved’ wife, Beth, who escapes her life in a midlands town to find herself an unwilling ‘heroine of the revolution’ in Zimbabwe.</ins></div></td></tr> </table>
