There are two very big twists at the end of this book. We reviewers have been asked not to reveal them and I've done my best not to even hint at either here. This has made it exceedingly tricky to review Zom-B. But I've done my best!
If Zom-B seems right up your alley, you'll also enjoy The Enemy by Charlie Higson, in which zombiesm only affects the grown-ups, leaving a Lord of the Flies style environment for the kids. Rot & Ruin by Jonathan Maberry is a super-duper post-apocalyptic zombie novel in the style of a revenge Western. And Generation Dead by Daniel Waters takes an entirely different approach to zombies - integrating its living dead teens into daily life and by this exploring prejudice. We can also recommend something else from Darren Shan.
