If you like this, I think you'll love Webber's stand-alone for slightly more mature readers (sometimes labelled as New Adult), [[Easy by Tammara Webber]]. For other romances from multiple POVs, [[Skin Deep by Laura Jarratt]], [[Graffiti Moon by Cath Crowley]], [[Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry]] and [[Amy and Roger's Epic Detour by Morgan Matson]] are four of my very favourite recent contemporary teen novels.

Between The Lines saw seventeen year old Emma catapulted to fame as she made a film adaptation of Pride and Prejudice with heartthrob Reid Alexander and started to fall for him, only to end up with more sensible Graham, another cast member. Now School Pride is nearly ready to be released, and it's time for the cast to start the publicity blitz - which means Emma and Reid, as the stars. will be spending a lot of time together. Can Emma's new relationship with Graham stay strong despite this? Not if Reid, and Brooke - who's desperate to get her hands on Graham and become more than just his friend - have got anything to do with it.

I enjoyed Tammara Webber's Between The Lines, and picked up the sequel as I was keen to see how the story developed. It's safe to say that I wasn't disappointed here - this is an improvement on the first in the series, chiefly due to the shift to four narrators all of whose voices are captured well by Webber. Emma is still a fun character to read about, while Reid gets more depth in this book - I only wanted to punch him in the face about 80% of the time I was reading about him! In addition, it's interesting to see Graham's viewpoint, and as for Brooke, wow! She's manipulative, needy, dishonest and will stoop to incredible levels to get Graham for herself. For all that, she's at least slightly sympathetic because Webber reveals just enough of her background that we can see why she's ended up the way she has.

This is a quite a steamy read, with great chemistry between Emma and Graham, but it's never particularly explicit - I'd been happy to recommend it to all but the youngest and most sheltered of teens. It's also rather more unpredictable than most similar books are - especially given this is the second in a trilogy, I wasn't at all sure how things would turn out, but thought it was a really good ending which worked well for this book but also left me intrigued as to what would happen in the final book.

Highly recommended, I'm really enjoying this series.

If you like this, I think you'll love Webber's stand-alone for slightly more mature readers (sometimes labelled as New Adult), Easy. For other romances from multiple POVs, Skin Deep by Laura Jarratt, Graffiti Moon by Cath Crowley, Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry and Amy and Roger's Epic Detour by Morgan Matson are four of my very favourite recent contemporary teen novels.
