|comment=I would like to thank Jonathan for his excellent books about the flemish involvement in WW2.My grandad was a staffelfuhrer in the NSKK and anybody invloved in war finds it difficult to discuss with close relatives.Jonathan explained that the flemish went to war for independence and to fight communism under a lot of pressure from the Catholic Church. This helped me to under stand why my grandad joined up.My dad died at the young age of 58 and his greatest wish for us,his kids,is that we would never be involved in a war
