The rhyme is lovely and scans well, so is a pleasure - and easy - to read aloud. Sometimes, it's blunt and funny:
''Every elf or pixie who asks me a question''<br>''Gets a horrible truth I can't help but mention''<br>''So, I'm stressed in bed and stressed on the loo''<br>
''And the mouse in my hair has just done a poo''
And sometimes, it's sweet and really rather profound:
''There will be people you love''<br>''Who can't stay forever''<br>''And there will be things you can't fix''<br>
''Although you are clever''
And sometimes, it's positively inspirational:
''You see your life is like a voice''<br>
''How you use it is really your choice''
