The publishers too have had the great good sense to produce a book which fits perfectly into small hands. It's a hardback with good quality paper which doesn't show too much of a shadow through from the other side and it's almost matte, which makes reading so much easier when you're starting out - or if you suffer from dyslexia. The font looks just like un-joined up writing with which most children are going to be familiar. These books are real gems and I'd like to thank the publishers for sending a copy to the Bookbag.
For more Plenderleith Christmas fun we can recommend The Christmas Carrot and The Silly Satsuma which is my own personal favourite. We also rather like The Tiny Tree.
