Andrew Sharp grew up in Uganda and is a writer and a surgeon. He has written three novels set in the countries of east and southern Africa that he has lived and worked in, and where he has family. His first novel, The Ghosts of Eden, won the Waverton Good Read Award and was shortlisted for the Rubery Book Award.
