I read the book in one sitting. Then I went back and read it again. And when I got to the end for the second time I was still stunned by the twist in the final paragraph. It's a story which stays with you long after you've finished reading and one which I know I will return to in future. I'd like to thank the publishers for sending a copy to the Bookbag.
After perfection, it's difficult to recommend another book, but you might enjoy an alternative history of what might have happened without the First World War: [[Archduke Franz Ferdinand Lives!: A World without World War I by Richard Ned Lebow]]. You might also appreciate [[Affections by Rodrigo Hasbun and Sophie Hughes (translator)]] and [[The Crime and the Silence by Anna Bikont]].
