|rating=5
|genre=Crime (Historical)
|summary=John Aislabie thinks that Thomas Hawkins has arrived at Aislabie's country mansion to investigate murder threats. |summary=Jennifer Donnelly wrote one of my all-time favourite books, ''A Gathering Light'', so I was very excited to read her latest novel and see how it compared. Above all, it is the story of Elfrun of Donmouth, uncertain of her father's fate and not knowing whom she can trust, or love…
