I like the ideas behind this story - that children shouldn't be given everything they ask for, and that saying please and thank you, and knowing how to share are important skills and make life much more fun. There's no heavy feeling of learning a lesson though and this is a really enjoyable, funny story that's great to share probably with those around 2 and a half and older.
