Even children who aren't scared of the dark will enjoy Darkness Slipped In - and don't worry, it won't give them any ideas to be scared. It's a fun tale, with a comic twist and a nice sense of rhyme throughout. It's great for reading before bedtime as it ends with Goodnight, but there's nothing stopping you from reading it at any time. Recommended.
Thanks to the publishers for sending it to Bookbag. We also have a review of Recipe For A Story by Ella Burfoot.
Other great bedtime books include How Do Dinosaurs Say Good Night? by Jane Yolen, One More Hug For Nutmeg by Caroline Jayne Church and Just Like Tonight by Amber Stewart and Layn Marlow.
