If you're looking for help with dyslexia we think that you'll find all the basics at the British Dyslexia Association.

We've been consistently impressed by the books we've seen from Barrington Stoke with their combination of the perfect paper, reader-friendly font, good line spacing and stories that are appropriate for the age of the reader, whilst still taking account of the likely reading age.

Educational Printing Services also follow all the guidelines for dyslexia-friendly books.

We've heard good reports of the Collins Read On series. They are printed on pure white paper rather than the white non-reflective paper preferred by the British Dyslexia Association. This does allow for better illustrations which can help to keep a reluctant reader motivated.

Younger children - and particularly boys - may well benefit from Project X.
