Adam Hamdy was born in London in 1974 and read Law at Oxford, and Philosophy at London.  He spent a number of years working as a management consultant before embarking on his career as a writer and filmmaker.  Hamdy’s critically acclaimed debut novel, Battalion, was hailed as a ‘blistering techno thriller’.  His first feature film, Pulp, described as ‘Withnail and I meets Spaced’, is set for release in 2013.  Hamdy is currently working on his second novel, Phase, a dark crime thriller.  Hamdy’s critically acclaimed debut graphic novel, The Hunter, has become one of the most widely read independent titles in recent years.  His second graphic novel series, Starmaker: Leviathan, was described by IndieComicReview as ‘lightning in a bottle’.  Adam Hamdy lives in the UK with his wife and three children.
