Of course we all have more relaxed manners when we're with family and friends, but it's best It was almost as if we learn the author wanted to distinguish between our public and private lives and keep the suspense until the last possible moment (which I liked) but then was somewhat left with too much to act appropriately. This might put a lot of readers off, and to be honest it'd be hard to blame themtrilogy. Kraus tells the story Coming in partway through a distinctive voice unlike any other I've read; an erratic dialect with heavy and frequent slang. The immediate effect saga is disorientating and distracting, never the easiest thing to do and it takes some time to feel natural. It's a struggle particularly true in science fiction because without knowing the back-story there are not just people whose names mean nothing to acclimatise to Jodyyou (when it's voice, to get acquainted with his mannerisms, assumed they will) but the story wouldnthere are whole concepts that you won't be the same without understand. This latter is particularly true of Cixin Liu's work – his range is phenomenal.
