It's very difficult to classify ''Painting Snails'': originally I thought that as itSomeone is recreating every traumatic event in Kim Stone's loosely based around a year on an allotment it would be a lifestyle bookpast, but you're not going to get advice on what to plant starting with the death of her twin when and where for the best resultsshe was six years old. The answer would be something along Some of the events, or at least the lines details of 'try it and see'. Then I considered popular science as Stephen Hartley failed his A levelsthem, did an engineering apprenticeshipare not public knowledge, became but whoever is behind this has a busker, finally got into medical school wealth of information and is now an A&E consultant (part time)using it to evil intent. I found out That might seem bad enough, but the brutal truth of the matter is that people - innocent people - are dying so that therethese dramas can be recreated. Stone probably - well, certainly - shouldn's an awful lot more to what goes t be on in a Major Trauma Centre than you'll ever glean from ''Casualty''the case, but that isn't really who has better knowledge of what the book's about. happened to her than she does? There's If her boss can just turn a lot about rock & roll, which seems blind eye to be the real passion of Hartleyeffect it's lifehaving on her for long enough, but she can sort it didn't actually fit into the entertainment genre eitherout... Did we have a category for 'doing the impossible the hard way'Or can she? Yep - that's the one. It's autobiography.
