Further reading suggestion: L C Tyler writes very funny gentleman-amateur-detective novels: try [[The Herring In The Library by L C Tyler|The Herring in the Library]]. You could also read [[Agatha Raisin: There Goes The Bride by M C Beaton|There Goes the Bride]] by M C Beaton.

|comment= Linda was spot on in this review. A parody taken too far. I was enjoying the impossible plot twists (they walked right out of the heavily guarded castle!!). But the use of quirky phrases and their repetition was making me crazy. I was not happy after reading the book and wanted to see what others thought. Was I loosing my sense of humor? Nope. Thanks so much Linda.
