Overall this is an exciting and entertaining read which will definitely appeal to both Sherlockians and fans of Bram Stoker.
For a similar Holmes crossover with another famous Victorian character, [[Rendezvous at the Populaire : A Novel of Sherlock Holmes by Kate Workman]] is worth checking out. My current favourite Holmes books (apart from the originals, at least!) are the spellbinding reimaginings, with a wonderful half-fairy Holmes, [[Shadowfall: A Novel of Sherlock Holmes by Tracy Revels]] and the sequel [[Shadowblood: A Novel of Of Sherlock Holmes by Tracy Revels|Shadowblood: A Novel Of Sherlock Holmes]].
