Taking in Water is Pamela Johnson's third novel, which was supported by an Arts Council Writers’ Award. She has published two previous novels, Under Construction and Deep Blue Silence, both with Sceptre.
She's a creative writing tutor with a reputation for nurturing talent. For over ten years she has taught fiction on the MA in Creative & Life Writing, Goldsmiths, University of London. Among her ex-students are other Bookbag authors, Evie Wyld & Ross Raisin.
