And when we say ‘the world’ we mean everyone in her email contacts list. Including all her clients. And random tradespeople she might once have got a quote off. And everyone in between. It’s an unconventional start – to a book, and to motherhood – and I found it rather enchanting. It certainly had me hooked, and I was excited to read on to see what misfortunes struck her next, because it struck me that it was going to be that kind of book.
