I recently reviewed a novel by another Scandinavian novelist, Helle Helle, [[This Should be Written in the Present Tense by Helle Helle and Martin Aitken (translator)|This Should be Written in the Present Tense]], and I expected this novel by Hanneke Hendrix to be very similar. It wasn't. That's not totally a bad thing – many people will enjoy the fast-paced, dialogue driven novel that ''The Dyslexic Hearts Club'' is. It just wasn't exactly what I was expecting.
