Literary merit? Absolutely none!
Plot, characterisation and all that other stuff you usually talk about? Nope – there's none of that, either.
Ah, so it's non-fiction? Well, calling it fact would be stretching things a little too far...
So, come on then. What is it?
Well, it's a sticker book for grown-ups.
Have you ever given someone a book and noticed all the stickers on the cover? Have you ever wished that you could add some of your own? Well, now's your chance. I was particularly taken by:
Another celebrity cash in!
Caution: Increasingly implausible storyline and
Warning: well-known smartass author
There are stickers to stick on ATM machines (please don't!), but you might chuckle at:
Please Wait: The Little Man Inside Is Busy and
Your Balance is Less Than You Think
Ever fancied adding to those stickers you see in lifts? How about:
Floors Visited at Random and
Quick, what does < > mean?
You're getting the picture then? There are stickers here for just about every occasion when you could possibly confuse someone. Most are in OK taste but you might want to be a little bit careful where you stick the blue plaque which says Numerous Celebrity Orgies Held Here. It's a book whose only merit is that it should give you and a few other people a bit of a giggle.
There's also no prize for clicking the link on Amazon which invites you to tell the publisher that you'd like to read this book on Kindle.
Go on. You know you want to.
I'd like to thank the author for sending a copy to the Bookbag.
