World Book Day is in its 19th year and it's the biggest annual celebration of reading for children. From January 2016 children in the UK and Ireland will be given a £1 (€1.50 in Ireland) book token in their nurseries and schools and these can be used to claim their World Book Day title in participating bookshops from 29 February to 27 March 2016. The book token can be exchanged for one of ten (eleven in Ireland) specially-published World Book Day £1 books, or is redeemable against any book or audio book of their choice costing £2.99 or more at a participating bookshop or book club.
