Serpent's Tail is fast becoming one of my favourite publishing houses. Not only have they released a great new author onto the world in the form of [[:Category:Dave Zeltserman|Dave Zeltserman]], but they are also putting out reissues of some very good older titles. Walter Mosley's ''Devil in a Blue Dress'' certainly falls into this latter category.
For fans of noir thrillers, Megan Abbott's [[Die A Little by Megan Abbott|Die A Little]] is another one worth a look.
