Summary: We're really pleased to present Keris Stainton, author of Jessie Hearts NYC, which we enjoyed, Emma Hearts LA, which we adored, and Della Says OMG! which we thought was brilliant, today! Slightly sad that the news she's sharing ISN'T that there's going to be a third book focusing on Bex, as we'd hoped for, but it's an interesting read and we're feeling very privileged that she's chosen to share it here!

We're really pleased to present Keris Stainton, author of Jessie Hearts NYC, which we enjoyed, Emma Hearts LA, which we adored, and Della Says OMG! which we thought was brilliant, today! Slightly sad that the news she's sharing ISN'T that there's going to be a third book focusing on Bex, as we'd hoped for, but it's an interesting read and we're feeling very privileged that she's chosen to share it here! Over to you, Keris!

I know that a lot of people really liked Emma's sister Bex in Emma Hearts LA. I did too. I wanted to know if she would be successful in her Hollywood career - actually I knew she would be successful, she's just that kind of person, so I really wanted to know how success would affect her. I was hoping that this would be my next book, but unfortunately my publisher doesn't like the idea as much as I do, so there are no plans for me to actually write this, which is why I can share the synopsis (although I've left the ending off in case I do actually get to write it someday).

Bex Hearts Paris - Bex's dream came true: she's one of two leads in a teen TV show. What she never dreamed about, but probably should have, was how much work it would be and how she'd have to kiss goodbye to being a 'normal' teenager.

Thanks to the studio publicity machine and the romantic souls of her show's teen viewers, even her private life is work, since everyone thinks she's all loved up with Grayson, her co-star. She's not; they have a good professional relationship, but nothing more. (The show began as a vehicle for Grayson - who was an online celebrity - and while Bex has become popular in her own right, she's sure she would come off worse if the two of them fell out.)

So when Bex and Grayson head to Paris to make a special that the network hopes will launch the show in Europe – and Bex's career into the big leagues - the last thing Bex expects is to fall in love…

Lena, the French make-up artist on the movie, can't believe Bex isn't planning to make the most of Paris during breaks from filming and makes it her mission to show Bex around.

Seeing Paris through Lena's eyes, Bex starts to realise what she's been missing in her teen celebrity bubble and, as the two girls spend more and more time together, Bex finds herself enjoying her first love affair in the City of Love. But is it just a holiday fling or could it be something more?

And when Bex discovers that her relationship with Grayson isn't quite as fake on his side as it is on hers, she's even more confused. There's no doubt in her mind that she's not interested in him in that way, but she doesn't want to hurt him. Or her career. But being with Lena could also hurt her career - she doubts the network's ready for a gay teen star.

As the end of filming approaches, Bex knows she has to make a decision, and a visit from her sister Emma (and Emma's boyfriend, Oscar)... [ending redacted!]

That sounds absolutely fabulous, Keris, and we really hope that something changes and you're able to write it and share it with us!
