Sarah Leigh-Wills is an award-winning children’s illustrator and author. An early calling as a vet at the age of 13 turned into a lifelong love of drawing animals. With a talent for knowing what makes children laugh and being able to engage with children on their level, Sarah has enjoyed a huge amount of success from her illustrations. Most recently with her project Night Night My Little Tiger, set to be featured on CBeebies Bedtime Stories.

A gloriously adventurous trip into stripy imagination – I loved it. DOM JOLY; Comedian & Journalist.

★★★★★ – The Book Reviewers

“Charming picture book … Beautifully illustrated with an evocative text, it has kind messages about scary night-times and will encourage children to practise their counting”

★★★★ – The Bookbag Go To Sleep

Sarah has been designing and illustrating children's books for over ten years. At last with a wealth of experience, she has finally been able to bring about her very first children's book series. ‘Gillie Can Share’. It is an exciting start of a series of early years books that are a lovely way of teaching children to have confidence in what they do. They gently teach children the basics of being nice to others, sharing their things and being considerate of others.

The rest of the series is to include: Gillie Can Play, Gillie Can Count, Gillie Can Help and Gillie Can Make. You'll find more information on her series here.

The story is fun and the illustrations throughout this book are colorful and vivid, and definitely eye-catching for young children. They add to the overall look and feel of the book itself. I also liked the fact that, whether consciously or unconsciously, this book breaks some stereotypes and shows Gillie’s dad baking cookies with her. I felt that this was a great step toward breaking gender stereotypes and it shows fathers doing activities with kids that were traditionally thought to be reserved for females only. ★★★★★ – Readers’ Favorite
